First impression-Makeup Revolution palettes

Even though the “Makeup Revolution London” brand is is considered a drugstore brand, I can say that some of their palettes are so well thought, with a variety of colors and textures. I’ve got my hands on two of them: Makeup Revolution Fortune Favours the Brave and Makeup Revolution Girls on Film aaand, they are AWESOME. Both of them have enough colors to create a full  makeup look and the shadows go from shimmers to pressed pigments and matte.

So as you can see, the top two rows are all shimmers the bottom row are all matte shadows. I just love when an eye palette has a white-bone shadow and a black one, because, with their help you can create new color for any eye shadow from the palette.

The shadows are pigmented, easy to blend, and don’t have much fallout.

The Makeup Revolution Fortune Favours the Brave palette has more eye shadows and I think that the texture is more buttery than the “Girls on Film” palette.

It has a variety of pressed pigments that are so nice and silky and pigmented, they stay on forever. Again, these two are drugstore brands and I am really glad that they have such good quality for an affordable price.

I will soon return with a makeup look using these two eye shadow palettes, until then, take care, have fun and shine on! 🙂
